Friday Guidance
Me today - The Chariot
Possible keywords: Determination, willpower, movement, perseverance
This card says: grab the reins and GET MOVING! It’s an invitation to rally your determination and create profound change in your life. You’re being guided to let go of doubt and grab this opportunity with both hands. Remind yourself why you’re doing this. Push yourself and test your limits. The Chariot is one of the most forceful cards in the deck, seemingly at odds with its element, but consider how a river remakes a landscape and tidal waves decimate a shoreline. This is water at its most transformational, so ride the wave!
Crossing My Path Seven of Cups
Possible keywords: Fantasies. Imagination. Overstimulation.
This card represents too many ideas and not enough time to explore them. It’s letting our minds be overrun with fantasies — as Cups deal with our emotions, it could point to an out-of-control imagination plaguing a relationship. How can we choose one thing when so much tempts us? These seven ask: Are you excited by all these possibilities? Or are you overwhelmed? The Seven of Cups could be an invitation to dream more prominent, but it could also be an invitation to pull back and simplify. It all depends on what you truly need right now.
Guidance -The Lovers
Possible keywords: Sacred union, polarity, spirituality, sexuality
As you’d expect from a card about polarity, the Lovers has two key aspects. First is the kind of fated love affair you know is “meant to be.” It’s that beautiful soul connection with another, where you feel ultimately seen and understood. Big love usually comes with big lessons, too, so unlike the ease of the 10 of Cups, the Lovers ask you to heal any wounds that linger and challenge you to up your game. The Lovers can also herald the renewal of a relationship or the arrival of an ideal partnership that benefits you both. The second aspect of this card is our relationship with ourselves. The Lovers is true self-love in action. The inner marriage makes us whole and able to connect, separate but together, honoring each other’s autonomy. The union of the masculine and feminine energies within us, the yin/ yang dynamic, sees us retreat from the world — or lose ourselves in work — when out of balance. The Lovers card asks: How do you honor your beloved SELF?
