The Tens
Ten of Wands
Possible keywords: Responsibility. Overwhelm. Stress.
The Wands began with a flash of genius in the Ace, and we ran with the idea, making magic happen left, right, and center… which is why it’s no surprise to discover we’re now feeling completely overwhelmed in the Ten. We took on too much, said yes when we should’ve said no, and now the burden of responsibility is about to break our metaphorical backs. There will be times when we can handle this much responsibility and others when we need help. The Ten of Wands counsels you to manage your workload better, delegate when you can, and ask for help. This Ten is a permission slip to let some of it go.
Ten of Cups
Possible keywords: Love. Happy ending. Unbridled joy.
If the Ace was the beginning of love, the Ten is the happily ever after. This is BIG love. It’s the rainbow and unicorns card we all hope to draw when we’re asking about a new relationship :-) A happy marriage and a long-lasting partnership are the absolute attainments of all your emotional desires — the “everything you want” card, as I often think. When our hearts are filled with joy, it flows out to the other parts of our lives and from there into the lives of others. Believe that life can be this good, and let your emotional good fortune shine into the world.
Ten of Swords
Possible keywords: Endings. Disappointment. Surrender.
If the Ace clarified us, the Ten of Swords is ALL the thoughts and not the good ones either! If this is the worst it will be, we can move on and start to heal the hurt. Remove those pins, one at a time, until you feel clear-headed again. Bring yourself back to the present moment and take a deep breath. Go gently and start over.
Ten of Pentacles
Possible keywords: Security. Prosperity. Legacy.
The acorn we planted in the Ace has grown into a mighty oak. This card represents a secure home, deep roots, and a sense of family and belonging. We’ve achieved financial security and know that we are taken care of. We feel confident about our place and draw strength from the people and possessions surrounding us. We have a life filled with riches, if not monetarily, and certainly those found in wisdom and insight. We are building our legacy.
